Dragana Kljajic:

My name is Dragana Kljajic and I am 22 years old. I began my playing career when I was 9 years old. I started off playing for Adelaide University Women’s soccer club where I developed my junior football knowledge. From there I was a part of FFSA run Woman’s Football Programs such as, SASI Raising Stars Women’s Soccer Programs (2006-2007), State Soccer Teams (2007-2011), and NTC Elite Girls Soccer Team (2012-2014).

In 2011 I took a big step in my Footballing Career and moved to Serbia to play for ŽFK Mašinac PZP Niš. There, at the age of 15 I trained and played with their Super League Woman’s Team. This experience taught me a lot about myself as a person as well as a footballer. Coming back to Australia I joined Adelaide City Woman’s Football Club (2012-2016).

 

In 2016/17 I signed as a W-League player for the Adelaide United Women’s Team and continued to further develop my game. I currently play in the Women’s National Premier League for West Adelaide Hellas.

Although my playing career is ongoing, I have followed into my father’s footsteps and have begun coaching and Co-Owning at our Football Academy. My vision as a footballer has changed immensely through my experience in coaching. I now uphold a vast range of knowledge which assists me in both roles. Additionally, Drago’s Football Academy has provided me with the opportunity of working with multiple companies on both a local and international scale, along with interacting with new people on a daily basis. We treat this business and everyone who is a part of it as our family. And I believe that’s why we are so unique. Watching this business grow into what it is today has been a huge honour and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for this academy!

Damian Kelly (Juniors skill coach):

I love the World Game and have been involved with South Australian Soccer for over 40+ years! At 13 I was selected in the zone squads (SAP equivalent) and played Colts with Para Hills before suffering a serious injury that stole any opportunity to consider pursuing my dream of ever playing professional soccer. As it turned out I excelled in another sport and have been coaching that ever since.

My passion for the world game was revitalised again when my son started playing soccer and I’ve been coaching ever since. I feel blessed to be part of the wonderful Drago’s Football Academy as I continue to learn and give back to others to enable them to pursue their dreams in playing the wonderful World Game we call football!

Sotiri Demitriou (Skill and GK Coach):

My name is Sotiris and I am 22 years old, I am new to the academy and enjoying my first year involved. I have been around football all my life, playing for as long as I can remember however due to a knee injury I had stepped away from playing at the NPL level but found ways to be involved beyond the starting 11.

 

Attaining my Game Training and Community Coaching certificate led me on my coaching journey, early on I was involved with coaching clinics focused on junior development. In the next year I hope to develop my own skills and knowledge while working under Drago, as this academy provides unique opportunities for the kids to progress and develop as a player and a person. I love getting to be a part of the process as the kids grow into young talented players.

 

I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an amazing academy and really excited for what the future holds with great people who share a love for football.

Anthony Rositano:

​

My name is Anthony and I am 20 Years Old. I started training with the academy roughly 9 or 10 years ago and started coaching with the academy about 3 years ago. I currently hold a Game Training certificate and hope to obtain my coaching C license in the coming years. I love working with everyone at the academy, and coaching all different age groups and skill levels that come with it.

 

I especially love seeing progression from the kids and watching them develop into young talented players, with all the skills and techniques that they learn from the academy. Drago’s Football Academy gives the players the opportunity to work on unique drills brought over from Football clubs such as FK Vojvodina a Serbian SuperLiga side, which would be unobtainable at regular club level and can help the players to expand their knowledge and understanding of both their skills and the game. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of such a unique academy and cannot wait to see what the future brings.

Zaid Musisi (Skill and GK Coach):

 

My name is Zaid Musisi Ssentongo. Have been coaching for eight years now. I have a good experience in Goalkeepers coaching and good knowledge of youth coaching. I develop sessions that creates a better understanding of goalkeeping, the role and techniques need to be a grate player with good hands on the ball as well as game intelligence. Just completed my C licence with FFA on top of all the other qualifications which include Senior coaching license, Goalkeepers coaching license, Game training certificate and others. Started coaching at Drago's Football academy in 2014 this has helped me to gain more experience and knowledge as well as giving out or pass on to the younger stars what I have achieved through my years of football career. At Drago's academy the respect and discipline of players, parents and coaches makes it one of the best in SA. Players are eager to learn and improve at all the time, they have passion for the beautiful game. This academy develops individual skills and confidence that all players need to become the best. The coaches are committed and passionate in providing the best training and developing players of all ages.
